Brown Bag is a free event that feautre informal presentations and discussions on the first three Tuesday noons of each month. This week features Joseph O’Connell, Oregon Folklife Network. Joe is currently doing field work in Wallowa County. He notes that every region has its own traditions and tradition keepers. His Brown Bag intent is to allow the audience to discover new insights about the “folkway” traditions that help make Wallowa County special, and to learn from the audience more about local tradition keepers and how traditions are passed through the generations. Bring your stories.
