Board of Commissioner Special Meeting

The Wallowa County Board of Commissioners will be conducting a Special meeting on Monday, September 21, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the Thornton Conference Room, located at 101 S River St. on the first floor, Enterprise Oregon 97828.  You will find the agenda attached.
 
This meeting is considered “special” as it is not a regularly scheduled meeting.
           
At the previous Board of Commissioners’ meeting on Wednesday, September 16, the Commissioners discussed revisions to the comment letter regarding the Blue Mountains Forest Plan Revision and asked that some proposed edits be considered.
The letter is currently being reviewed, and a revised copy is being prepared for the Board’s consideration.
Because the comment period closes on September 30, prior to the next regularly scheduled Board of Commissioners’ meeting, the Board will hold a special meeting on Monday,
  September 21, to consider approval of the revised comment letter.
