3rd Annual Kokanee Festival
Come join Wallowa Lake State Park and other local organizations in a family-oriented festival centered around Kokanee Salmon. Each year at the end of August or beginning of September, Kokanee make their way from Wallowa Lake up the Wallowa River to spawn. The bright red fish can be seen from the riverside- it's an amazing biological event for anyone to see. The Kokanee Festival is all about Food, Music, and Fish!
