DESCRIPTION:Celebrating Route 66!\n\nThe 14th annual Hootenanny and Shoo-fly Pie Social will be held on Sunday\, May 17th at 2:00 pm. Wallowa Valley Music Alliance is pleased to announce their theme "Route 66" in conjunction with the Centennial of that famed highway. This highly anticipated spring fundraiser will again be held at the historic Odd Fellows Hall\, located at 105 NE 1st Street\, Enterprise\, Oregon.\n\nStep inside the Odd Fellows Hall and hit the road! This year's show puts you behind the wheel of a '63 Ford Thunderbird\, windows down and radio up\, rolling across the American landscape to the sounds of a live variety show featuring an all-star cast of local performers.\n\nGuest emcee Mike Midlo will act as tour guide through a multi-genre musical montage performed by Jimmy Bivens\, Janis Carper\, Terri Hall\, Matt Harshman\, Carolyn Lochert\, Heidi Muller & Bob Webb\, Liz Powers\, John Raines\, and Ariana Samples.\n\n \n\nShoo-fly Pie Social and contest\n\nLet's not forget the Shoo-fly Pie Social and contest! Each year an impressive variety of home-baked goodness   contributed by pie bakers like you   are lined up for all to sample. One dollar buys you a slice and a vote for your favorite. First\, second and third place prizes will be awarded based on the decision of the live audience. We encourage all attendees to bring their best pie and win a prize. Specially prepared pies will be auctioned during the show as well.\n\nSign-up with Carolyn Lochert (541)398-1089 to donate your homemade pie.\n\n50/50 Raffle\n\nThere will be a 50/50 raffle too. All proceeds from the Hootenanny go directly to fund Music Alliance programs in Wallowa Valley throughout the year.
