DESCRIPTION:Every year for the past 20+ years the Flora School Education Center has been hosting a celebration of the Past! On the 3rd Saturday in June we kick off our annual event to help restore the school back to 1915! Come join us for IN-PERSON Demonstrations\, Competitions\, Town Tours/School Tours and MORE! \n\n\n\nTHE BS COMPETITION\n\n7am-1pm Blacksmith teams hammering out "18th Century farm hand tools"\n\n\n\n7am to 10am Apprentice works on the project with only talking from the Blacksmith\n\n\n\n10am to 1pm Blacksmith takes over the work to finish it out\n\n\n\n7am-1:30pm VOTE for your Favorite Blacksmith Team by donating to their Individual DONATION CAN!\n\nDUTCH OVEN LUNCH DRAWING 7am-10am Must be present to win (no expiration date)\n\n\n\nDEMONSTRATIONS & MORE 9am-2pm See schedule some are short duration!\n\n\n\nRIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY 9:30am Wheelchair ramp\n\n\n\nTOWN TOURS with "johnny popper" tractor 10am\, 11:30am & 1pm\n\n\n\nDUTCH OVEN LUNCH NOON or when the bell rings! Make something to remember us by!\n\no Book sale (by the book\, by the author bundle\, by the box your choice\, by the mystery box)\n\no *Branding -- Red hot irons just waiting to be touched to wood or Tandy leather!\n\no Country Store--ticket sales\, arts\, crafts\, history books and more\n\no Dutch oven cooking and cleaning watch your lunch being made! YUMMY!\n\no *Kitchen Work-- Everything used to taste so much better because of...you guessed it...HARD\n\nWORK!
