DESCRIPTION:Dulcimer Week in the Wallowas will present its 5th Annual Dulcimer Extravaganza concert on Friday\, July 3 at 7:30 pm at the Josephy Center for Arts and Culture\, 403 N. Main Street in Joseph. Award-winning mountain dulcimer players Karen Mueller from Minneapolis and Steve Eulberg from the Bay Area will join local musicians Heidi Muller and Bob Webb for a toe-tapping\, family-friendly good time. All performers have been teaching at Dulcimer Week\, held at Wallowa Lake. The concert is a kick-off event for the Joseph Mountain Jubilee\, sponsored by the Wallowa Valley Music Alliance.\n\n \n\nKaren Mueller is a National Dulcimer Championship finalist and two-time Kansas State Dulcimer Champion. She has an exciting\, innovative style\, playing with speed and clarity on Appalachian\, Celtic and contemporary music. She is also a National Champion autoharp player\, has six solo recordings\, and travels internationally as a teacher and performer.\n\n \n\nSteve Eulberg is a five-time National Dulcimer Championship finalist. He is known for both his mountain and hammered dulcimer playing and is also a songwriter and player of the dulci-bro and banjammer\, with 15 recordings to his credit. His is music has topped independent country and folk charts and been heard on National Public Radio.\n\n \n\nHeidi Muller and Bob Webb\, from Joseph\, have been playing and teaching dulcimer for over 30 years. Muller is a songwriter-guitarist whose "Good Road" is the theme song of Northwest Public Radio's Inland Folk show. Webb played guitar\, mandolin and cello with the Mountain Stage syndicated radio show. They are the hosts and organizers of Dulcimer Week.
