SUMMARY:6th Annual Countdown to Chief Joseph Days Rodeo
DESCRIPTION:The 6th Annual Countdown to CJD Rodeo is hosted by a committee of the CJD Rodeo.  The fun begins on Friday at 2pm with a ride to the top of the moraine\, from the Harley Tucker Arena.  Later that evening\, there will be a social hour at 5pm and a beef dinner will be served in the Thunderroom at 6pm.  Following dinner there will be the team auction.  Each team will be auctioned in a Calcutta an the top three teams will receive 75% of the money.\n\n\n\nThe rodeo on Saturday\, is open to cowboys & cowgirls.  The teams will ride through Joseph at 3:30 pm.  Mutton busting for the kids starts at the Harley Tucker Arena at 4:30pm.  The rodeo will begin at 5:00pm. This event will raise money for scholarships to local high school seniors.  Come root for your favorite Wallowa County ranch as they compete for cash and bragging rights.
